The Bible is the most powerful and life changing book on the earth. When it comes to our kids growth, there is simply no substitute. It is important to understand faith in its historical and cultural context, but the most important thing we can do for our kids is show them how relevant and practical God's Word is to their life right now! Fire Heart Academy is a curriculum that has been designed to do just that. The lessons have been illustrated to keep your children's attention but most importantly the content is designed to lead them to the Author of the Bible, and His heart for them.

There is no replacement for good parents in a child's life. God designed family, parenting was His idea. Leaders, pastors and educators are a gift to us all, but they are not more important to a child's life than parents are. Your kids need you! I know you believe this. Most parents would agree that they are needed emotionally and physically by their kids. But can I challenge you to think deeper than that? Your kids need you spiritually! I am not simply talking about you taking them to church and youth group, relying on a pastor or leader to raise them spiritually. Those are both good things and I believe in faith communities, pastors and leaders. But when it comes to your kids, God came up with the idea of parents raising them spiritually. You are anointed to father your children and you are anointed to mother your children.

God’s answer to you, is that you are anointed for fatherhood and that you are anointed for motherhood. That means you have the anointing to do it, so now it’s just a matter of working out the anointing that has been given to you by God!
One of the reasons we created Fire Heart Academy is due to the fact that I have encountered parent after parent struggling to believe that they are fully capable of raising their own kids spiritually. Even though I know you do not NEED us in order to accomplish your call to raise your kids spiritually, we do feel drawn to serve those who desire help in this area. The goal of this academy is not only to give you a starter curriculum to use in challenging your children spiritually, but also to call out the anointing you have been given by God as a father or mother to raise your kids spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. As my own spiritual father used to say: You have it in ya!
